About Vince

Hi, I’m Vince Lambert. My heart has always been to serve people—whether I’m teaching, speaking, counseling, writing, or sitting with someone who just needs a listening ear. I love helping leaders grow into their God-given calling and watching people discover what’s possible when they trust God with their lives.

For nearly three decades, I’ve had the privilege of serving the local church in a lot of different roles—Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, church planter, and conference speaker. Before our merger with Chicago Embassy Church, I spent several years leading River Oaks Community Church in South Holland, Illinois. Along the way, I’ve also taught at places like Moody Bible Institute, Trinity International University, North Park University, and a handful of other schools that allowed me to pour into future leaders.

One of the most meaningful parts of my life is serving as a Chaplain in the Illinois Army National Guard. I’ve walked with soldiers and their families through moments of celebration and moments of deep pain. In 2020, I deployed to Ukraine as part of the European Deterrence Initiative, and that experience reshaped how I see people, purpose, and God’s presence in difficult places. A big part of my role as a Chaplain is helping service members strengthen their relationships—whether they’re married or single—through practical, honest conversations.

Before ministry, I spent over twenty years in the business world in finance, investments, and bank management. Those years taught me discipline, leadership, and what it means to care for people in everyday life. My academic journey is wide-ranging—finance, business, ministry, counseling—and all of it comes together in how I serve today. I’m currently finishing my Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling.

One thing that’s always been on my heart is discipling men. Out of that desire, “The Mancave” was born—a space where men can grow, be honest, and discover the purpose God planted in them.

Today, I partner with pastors and churches to help build healthy teams and thriving congregations. I also train leaders locally and internationally in areas like emotional intelligence, pastoral counseling, marriage enrichment, suicide intervention, and spiritual formation. My book, 30 Days Ablaze, was written to help believers build a deeper, daily walk with Christ—one intentional step at a time.

Most of all, I’m a husband and a father. I’ve been married to my wife, LaTonia, for 29 years, and we’re grateful parents to our two sons, Joshua and John. They are my greatest gifts and my most important ministry.
